Discover, in an easily understandable way, how modern science has rewritten our understanding of the brain and why taking an active approach to looking after our mind is as essential to our health and well-being as exercise and diet.

Day Overview

Most of us experience improved health when we eat a balanced diet, take exercise & sleep well. But how often do we consider the benefits of a healthy mind? Come along and find out why an increasing number of people (including students, parents of young children, corporate directors and healthcare professionals) are turning to mindfulness meditation not only to support their general well-being but also as a means of managing health concerns such as high blood pressure, IBS, CFS/ME stress, anxiety and depression.

Join us for the day and an opportunity to…

  • Take some time out to recharge your batteries
  • Experience the benefits of secular mindfulness meditation
  • Develop skills to use in your daily life to help you become and remain calm, relaxed, focused and energised

Who is this course for?

Everyone is welcome! No previous experience of meditation is required as the day is designed to explore the benefits of meditation to our health and to provide the opportunity for delegates to experience mindfulness meditation.
